The collection contains mainly administrative materials and correspondence related to the editing of the journal from 1968 to 1990. Specifically, administrative materials include annual reports, budget and historical information, and documentation of copyright. Also contained in the collection are materials related to debate surrounding David Abraham's "The Collapse of the Weimar Republic." A small series of material directly related to the Conference Group for Central European History includes meeting notes, correspondence, rosters, newsletters, and information about prizes for scholarship in the field. Selected materials related to the peer review process have been separated and restricted.
